Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our Perth team.About the role
- Working across the full lifecycle of projects from scoping
studies through to execution of EPC and EPCM.
- Ability to deliver mechanical technical solutions in accordance
with project scope, time-frames and best practice standards.
- Prepare technical reports related to the design.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the project requirements as
they relate to scope, cost and schedule.
- Develop the mechanical work plan for inclusion in the
project-specific execution plan.
- Be a key contributor to the delivery of multi-disciplinary
engineering designs and feasibility studies.
- Manage and review the Engineering Work Packages (EWP)
associated with all deliverables and time-based functions to ensure
that budgets and schedules are being met, and taking corrective
action if necessary.
- Review and approve mechanical technical deliverables
(specifications, datasheets, drawings, etc.).
- Assist in the preparation and development of project-specific
procedures.About you
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Extensive experience in the detailed design of mineral
processing plants.
- Proven success in an EPCM environment.
- Extremely well-developed written and verbal communication
skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and client liaison skills.
- Strong deliverable focus and ability to plan the work.
- Excellent understanding and belief in safety principles,
standards and legislation.
- Prior experience with copper, gold, nickel or base metals is
highly advantageous.
- Experience of leading the mechanical discipline on a
