Chemours is seeking a Data and A utomation Engineering Intern to join our Process Control Technology Center team! This position will report directly to the Global Process Control & Automation Director .

As a Data and A&PC Engineering Intern, you will work closely with the Process Control Technology Center team gaining valuable experience through hands-on projects supporting manufacturing and deploying innovative tools . You will have exposure to real-time engineering work alongside other engineers to apply what you've learned in the classroom.

Top candidates for the position will have the ability to communicate with impact, have strong self-awareness, and will naturally be inquisitive.

Location: Wilmington , DE

Hours: Regular full-time schedule of 40 hours per week

Term : 3 -month assignment between May - August 2025

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Working with experienced engineering professionals on improvement projects


    • Assisting operations and maintenance with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem solving


      • Participating in process safety management activities and reviews


        • Contributing to team meetings and conference call s


          T he following is required for this role :

          • Enrollment at an accredited college or university as a Freshman or above at time of assignment


            • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering or similar fields


              • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point


                The following is preferred for this role :

                • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)


                  • Experience with databases , with specific knowledge of SQL


                    • Strong interest in technology


                      • 3. 0 GPA or above
