Objective

The Industrial Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing mechanical systems and equipment in our industrial facility. The ideal candidate will provide critical support to ensure operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and workplace safety.

Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance
Install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical systems
Perform comprehensive inspections of equipment and mechanical infrastructure
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical failures across production systems
Conduct preventative maintenance on critical equipment

Technical Fabrication
Fabricate and repair mechanical parts using welding and metalworking techniques
Install and modify piping systems (PVC, CPVC, steel, stainless steel)
Utilize various tools including hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
Perform precision measurements and equipment calibration

Operational Support
Operate material handling equipment including forklifts and lifting machinery
Manage inventory of parts, tools, and supplies
Prepare maintenance documentation and performance reports
Provide technical training to team members
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and workplace regulations

Requirements

Entry-Level Opportunity- training will be provided for those with applicable skills!
High school diploma or equivalent
Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical repair techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints
Valid driver's license
Proficiency in welding and metal fabrication preferred
Welding certification preferred
Experience with HVAC and boiler systems preferred
OSHA safety certifications a plus

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working in industrial environments
Capable of climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods
