Asset Management Systems/Senior Business Analyst Position
Description CGI, a leader in asset management solutions, is seeking
a senior business analyst to support implementation of an asset
management solution for our government client. The resource will
lead teams conducting activities such as as-is and to-be business
processes analysis, gap analysis, application design, testing, data
migration, and training in support of a large implementation
project. Candidate should have deep understanding and demonstrated
knowledge of large-scale software implementation processes.
Knowledge of federal asset management best practices, processes and
procedures is required. This position is located in Washington, DC.
and requires a TOP SECRET clearance. Your future duties and
responsibilities The individual will be involved in a variety of
functional and business process tasks to meet the client
objectives. This may include:
--- Leading teams and/or provide deep subject knowledge expertise
in an effort to implement IT solutions for the federal
government
--- Analyzing and identifying current business processes and system
functionality to determine the best methods for achieving business
objectives
--- Creating documentation such as standard operating procedures,
training materials, and job aids for distribution to end users and
system stakeholders
--- Facilitate configuration sessions and to-be process definition
meetings
--- Developing and reviewing software system configuration and
design documentation based on customer requirements
--- Leading testing of system functionality and troubleshooting of
system errors
--- Providing expert support to end users as they complete work in
the asset management system
--- Participating in/facilitating meetings with system stakeholders
to solicit and consolidate feedback on the system and business
processes in use
--- Identifying and documenting potential measurable business
process efficiencies for the client
--- Additional tasks as necessary to meet customer objectives
Required qualifications to be successful in this role Required
qualifications to be successful in this role:
--- Experience in implementation and support of a federal IT system
(Asset Management preferred)
--- Experience working with asset management solutions for a
federal customer
--- Experience and comfort facilitating or participating in
meetings, training sessions, and group presentations
--- Strong writing skills and prior experience developing agendas,
minutes, and presentation materials
--- Experience in testing and documentation of Asset Management
system functionality
--- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and present
multiple solution options to the client.
--- Demonstrated ability to utilize available resources to research
unfamiliar issues/topics
--- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team
environment
--- Strong analytic thinking skills Desired
qualifications/non-essential skills required:
--- Demonstrated Experience in CGI's Sunflower solution or another
asset management solution is preferred.
--- Knowledge of SQL is preferred CGI is required by law in some
jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation
range for this role. The determination of this range includes
various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience,
relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the
ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does
not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their
role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and
circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current
range for this role in the U.S. is $67,800.00 - $165,200.00. At CGI
