There is an exciting opportunity for a specialized NICU nurse leader to join a historic and storied hospital as their Nurse Manager Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Although the health system itself is historic, this state-of-the-art beautiful new 15+ bed NICU provides the best newborn care in the Philadelphia area.
Reporting to the Director of Women's Service, the Neonatal Critical Care Manager RN will be supported by several Nurse Managers, Assistant Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses, and specialized nurses–many of whom hold their RNC-NIC certification. This Level III NICU not only sets the standard for care but is also on the forefront of advanced pediatric services.
In collaboration with the Women's and Children's leadership, the NICU Nurse Manager will oversee staff management and uphold care standards within the department. Key responsibilities include guiding nursing practices, handling staff hiring, and leading performance improvement initiatives. Additionally, the NICU Nurse Manager will manage the departmental budget and drive quality improvement efforts for the unit.
