Job Description:
The CRRT team has a NIGHTSHIFT position AVAILABLE position
consisting of 72 hours biweekly, with every third weekend and
holiday rotations on-call.SIGN ON BONUS!! - up to $10,000!!!The
CRRT Registered Nurse (RN) is a clinician who is specially trained
to manage patients receiving CRRT therapy and the management of all
clinical components of the extracorporeal equipment and circuitry.
The CRRT RN will autonomously perform CRRT therapy under the
direction and in collaboration with Nephrology/Program Manager of
the CRRT program. This RN will provide consistent clinical support
for patients to ensure safe and efficient care delivery that
includes provision of expert resourcing and clinical support for
the multidisciplinary team.Position ResponsibilitiesResponsible for
daily, direct care and management of the CRRT device (priming,
initiating, and discontinuing) in all critical care practice
areasPerform venipunctures, access central venous access
devices/portsProvides onsite clinical resourcing support for
clinical nurses in all practice areasProvide on-call clinical
resourcing/emergency managementParticipates in annual educational
competency training for the multidisciplinary CRRT teamResponsible
to provide additional extracorporeal therapies, such as apheresis
and/or ECMO when the CRRT census is zero and/or therapies are
performed in tandemResponsible to provide direct patient bedside
care as a Registered Nurse in a critical care environment when the
CRRT census is zeroPosition RequirementsBSN requiredMinimum of
1-year critical care experience required; pediatric critical care
preferredApheresis, ECMO, or dialysis experience
preferredCertification in pediatric and/or critical care nursing
preferredNursing license in the state of Delaware or a compound
state that encompasses DelawareAmerican Heart Association Basic
Life Support (BLS) upon hirePediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
