Description






Position Summary: - - - - - The Registered Nurse as a Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse performs the functions of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients. Ensures that Cardiac Rehab is safe, comprehensive, cost-effective and medically appropriate for individual patients. Contribute to the development of Cardiac Rehabilitation Service by acting as a credible role model, educator, and an expert clinician, using current research and evidence-based practice. - - - - - - - - - -
Experience
Required: Minimum of 1 year RN experience in a Cardiology ICU/Critical Care setting with a total of 3 years prior RN experience.
Preferred: Cardiac Rehab RN experience




Education
Required: Graduate of accredited diploma, associate degree or baccalaureate degree nursing program.
Preferred: Bachelor---s degree in nursing.




License and Credentials - -
Required: Current New Jersey License as a Registered Nurse. Approval of credentials and clinical privileges per Center procedure.




Skills
Required: Maintain required continuing education credits, maintain current CPR and ACLS certification. - Computer proficiency. Proficient in using Electrocardiograph (ECG) machine, sphygmomanometer, stethoscope, scales, Height stick, Body Mass Index (BMI) calculation, Resuscitation equipment including a defibrillator.
-HOURS: Full-time , 80 hours per pay period, Monday -Friday, No Weekends, No Holidays -
