In this role, the R&D Engineer II/Software Developer II will collaborate with a team of expert professionals to understand customer requirements, interact with user experience research and designers to accomplish development objectives.This position is an in-office role based in Exton, PA and this opportunity is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms moderately complex development activities, including the design, implementation, maintenance, testing and documentation of desktop application software, with a focus on the Graphical User Interface.Understands and employs best practices, particularly in the context of application software development.Performs moderately complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products. Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions.Familiar in the process of translating User Experience design and requirements into application software products.Works under the general supervision of a development manager.Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and ExperienceBS in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or other natural science disciplines with 2 years' experience or MS, with exposure to or concentration in Graphical User Interface design and development.Working experience within technical software development proven by academic, research, or industry projects.Good understanding and skills in object-oriented programming.Preferred Qualification and SkillsExperience using Microsoft Visual Studio, C# and .NET.Experience with Microsoft's Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).Experience with Graphical User Interfaces.Experience in C, C++.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to learn quickly and to collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team.INCLUSION IS AT OUR COREWe believe diverse thinking leads to better outcomes.
