hunt for a dynamic MidLevel Electrical Engineer to join the hive on
behalf of our clients. In this role youll take ownership of
designing and testing power electronics hardware and control
systems focusing on SiCbased power electronic converter topologies
DSPbased digital control algorithms and FPGA modulators. If youre

to meet you! Your Mission:
- Design and Testing:
- Design and test SiCbased power electronic converter topologies
including active rectifiers isolated DCDC converters solidstate
transformers and highspeed motor drives.
- Design and test DSPbased digital control algorithms FPGA
modulators and PLCbased highlevel system controllers.
- Develop detailed PCB designs including SiC gate drivers system
control PCBs and support hardware.
- Design and test low (1.2 1.7 kV) and medium voltage (3.3 10 kV)
SiC semiconductor modules.
- Embedded Control Algorithms:
- Design embedded control algorithms harmonic compensators
software PLLs and other embedded algorithms.
- Develop ControllerHardwareintheLoop test setups control cards
and control algorithms.
- Collaboration and Compliance:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure project
success.
- Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC MIL 461 and other MIL spec
design requirements. Core Competencies:
- Power Electronics and Control Design:
- Proficient in designing and testing power electronic converter
topologies and control systems.
- Digital Control and FPGA Design:
- Skilled in designing DSPbased digital control algorithms FPGA
modulators and PLCbased system controllers.
- Embedded Systems and PCB Design:
- Expertise in designing embedded control algorithms and detailed
PCB designs.
- Compliance and Collaboration:
- Ability to ensure compliance with industry standards and
collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams. What You Bring:
- 511 years of electrical engineering experience.
- BS in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or a related
major with a minimum 3.3 GPA. MS and PhDs are a plus.
- United States Citizenship required due to US Government ITAR
program restrictions.
- Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
- Experience in designing and/or controlling motor drives ACDC
and DCAC converters is highly desirable.
- Experience with highspeed communications development with
highperformance FPGAs.
- Proficiency in programming various microcontrollers DSPs and
FPGAs.
- Handson experience with OPALRT Typhoon PLECS RT Box or other
HIL platforms. Skills Required:
